The Candyland Suite is a complete imaginative, & immersive soundtrack for all the characters & places inspired by the classic board game "Candyland." Every character and place, Plumpy, Mr. Mint, Lord Licroice, Ice Cream Sea; all have themes and music for them. It is mainly orchestral-based with electronic and ambient elements.

I based it off the 1999 version of the board game as there have been around 10-15 releases of it spanning back since 1948. Many of the characters in newer versions are completely different and they flat out got rid of almost everyone. But nonetheless, I felt these characters and places were just calling for music

If you buy the album you will also receive a document of my own personal interpretation on loose plot synopsis that I wrote -- how the young boy and girl get to Candyland, and how they begin their journey to get to Candy Castle to get back home -- and character descriptions, which outline the major characters and their traits that you can hopefully correlate with the music. You can read these documents to get more inside my head to better understand where my mindset was when I was writing this music. I found the more I wrote music for this game, the more a clear storyline developed, very Wizard-of-Oz-esque; very "these innocent kids get thrown out of their comfort zone into a different world where they learn things and meet characters along the way in order to find their way back home." I must make it known I obviously do not own the rights to this game or own the license, so this is strictly fan-made.

I am sure this music will find its way into the hearts and spirits of the beings who need it, and it was such a joy to bring this all to whole completion! I intend the music takes on a life of its own where it can continually expand and create future opportunities for this to be played in a live setting some day down the road. Enjoy listening!
